Health is a combination of a sound lifestyle consisting of physical activity, nutrition, stress releasing techniques, good sleep habits and a happy environment. A sound sustainable nutritional diet is necessary to ensure success in achieving a fit and healthy body.
Conflicting information on nutrition is abundant. It's important to understand that Nutritional Science is a young science. When studies and trials prove one correlation or causation, another proves the opposite. Every diet has what sounds like credible proof but yet many contradict each other. We have come far and have learned much but there is so much more to learn and to discover. The only almost full proof way to prove a theory is to dissect and analyze a live tissue and that is definitely not humane. Furthermore, since we are all so biologically different, the findings would still not bring results that affect each of us mutually. It is vital that we understand that each and every one of us is designed differently on a cellular level which means that what works for one, may not work for another. There are a tremendous amount of factors that affect all studies and trials. That being said, what we have discovered in the last few years has helped us to reflect on our actions and decisions and have brought about some wonderful solutions.
Nutrition, as are exercise, lifestyle and so forth, is a question of trial and error. Each one of us needs to determine what works best for us on an individuality basis. This can be frustrating and trivial for some.
We work with you on an individuality basis. We listen to you in respect to your lifestyle, preferences, beliefs, medical conditions, nutritional challenges and requirements. Together, with trial and error, our goal is to come up with either basic nutritional advice or a sustainable nutritional program that will help you achieve your fitness and health goals.
I, Christine, founder of Kaya Life Fitness, am a Certified Holistic Nutritionist with a Specialization in Sports Fitness. I am a couple months away from being a Registered Nutritional Counselling Practitioner. Once a practitioner, some health care benefits will cover these services.
I do currently offer nutritional counselling for both personal training clients and non personal training clients.
